Many systems/machines already have a network-compatible data connection (e.g. OPC-UA or Modbus). The SYMESTIC Manufacturing Platform includes the corresponding client service. You can simply download this service from the cloud and install it on one of your local (virtual) servers.
If you want to get by without using your local network for internal reasons (e.g. IT department overloaded), you can purchase our Cloud Gateway hardware, which enables a mobile connection to the cloud, among other things (country-specific restrictions may apply).
Depending on the application, you may want to add digital signals or additional sensors. No witchcraft either - this is extremely quick and easy with our DI Cloud Gateway in just a few minutes.
